and thrive. and the breaking news is happening in the east bay. sky 7 is live in oakland over a car parked by highland hospital that was shot somewhere near i-580 and high street we know the car appears to have been hit by two bullets. there is a hole in the windshield and a side window was shot out of the car. you can see it's a black acura. >> at this point he's not cooperating with investigators trying to question him. there is no word on the extent of the injuries. this happened near a shooting last week when a car was hit by bullets also on 580. no indication the shootings may be related in any way. we'll

continue the breaking story on air and on line. good afternoon, everybody i'm larry beil. >> a cloudy day. showers are moving in. this is a live look across the bay at san francisco. you can see clouds out there >> looks rather ominous and threatening. >> spencer christian is here with the accu-weather forecast. >> it's cloudy where we are. we have areas of rain developing now not very wide spread but i'll show you where wet spots are at the moment in north bay, the rain concentrated around santa rosa area. pockets of rainfall here and there. you can see we have widely separated waves of moisture moving in now. mainly light rain at the moment we expect to it get better organized but rainfall totals last 24 hours railroad not much

bart service back on normal schedule along the fremont line that was shut down most of the morning commute after a man was hit and killed by a train. sky 7 was overhead as bart resumed service to take passengers to their destinations. and that was only part of the frustration for commuters. >> she quickly made signs that would surprise passengers and now, seeing no train service south of hayward, customers were not happy. >> can't be a bad commute for me now. has to go to berkeley to work. >> bart trains south of hayward did not run because someone was killed on the tracks last night. investigators wanted to wait until the morning light to make

but will be partial clearing tomorrow, and spring like warmth will blackit the area. we'll see a rainy night. starting at 5:00 in the afternoon. we'll see more wide spread pockets of light rain. we'll see it getting better organized by 9:00 p.m pushing towards golden gate and areas of rain by 5:00 morning there could be wet spots of pavement but not much in the way of rain. you can see partial clearing so sunday morning next wave of rain comes through, overnight and into sunday morning.

we have breaking news in contra costa county. in oakley a person was struck and killed by an amtrak train the victim is still on the tracks. it's in a single track area.

a florida woman is undergoing a mental evaluation. officials say she was driving on to daytona beach, which is allowed but then veered into the water. lifeguards and beach goers jumped into the van. >> it started to go down quickly. she went into the water. watching them carry the kids out of the van was emotional. >> a witness told a tv news station one kid was screaming their mother was trying to kill them the kids are now with child protective services.

>> doctors revealed a second baby born with hiv may have put her infection put into remission by early treatment the girl was born near los angeles. doctors started treating her for hours after the birth. this child in mississippi is three and a half and seems to be hiv-free despite no treatment for two years the mississippi case led doctors to rethink how to treat infants born with hiv. a study offers advice on a diet rich in meat and cheese for older people. researchers studdeed 6,000 americans over 50. they found people between 50-65 with diets high in animal proteins were 74% more likely to die of cancer than those who consumed less animal protein. however, researchers found after age 65, trend dissipated
